In addition to the regular timetable, extra trains will run to help move crowds to and from Newcastle over the three days of the event, particularly in the early morning in time for race start and later in the evening to help fans get home. There are almost 2000 car parks at Stockton Wharf and the car park will open at 6am each day. They are equipped with eftpos terminals and cash buckets with donations going to the Community Flood Relief. Rotary will be managing the parking area across the weekend. FERRYįans can park at Stockton Wharf and catch the ferry across the Harbour to Queens Wharf, where Gates 1a and 1b access is a short walk away.įerries between Stockton and Newcastle (Queens Wharf) will run frequently throughout the event. Unlike the 2019 Newcastle 500, a park and ride option from Broadmeadow (McDonald Jones Stadium) to the circuit will not be available for the 2023 event.įans will, however, have a number of options to get to the track without missing a moment of the action.
